Six Weeks to Speed Series:

Speedwork training series designed to train athletes to improve pace, strength and recovery times. Participants in SW2S2 should be able to comfortably run 4 miles and be prepared to put forth a strong effort to take their training to the next level.  Perfect for runners looking to keep their mileage up and workouts challenging- but need something a little different than the same 'ole same 'ole route and routine. 

First Practice: Monday, March 22nd at 6:00AM at Fleet Feet Sports

Coached Workouts: Mondays and Thursdays, 6:00AM from Fleet Feet Sports through April 30th

Program Cost: $100.00

Triathlon 101 Beginner Program:

Train for the 2nd Annual 36 North Sprint Triathlon
Sunday, June 20th 2010 at Tanglewood Park
(300 meter swim, 12 mi bike, 5K run)

A complete 8 week structured training schedule including group practices and individual workouts. Coached workouts 2 – 3 times per week (4 swim clinics, weekly run clinics, weekly group ride). Coaches for Tri 101 are experts in their various disciplines and will work to make you the best overall triathlete that you can be!

First Practice: Monday, April 26th

Coached Workouts: 2-3 times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6 or 7PM (weeks will vary).

Program Cost: $150.00, does not include race registration fee.

10K Training:

Our 10K (6.2 miles), 9 week training program is designed for runners who are working to move beyond the 5K distance. Combining longer distances with speed workouts and strength training, this program will challenge you to take it to the next level. If your personal goal is to challenge your limits, then this is the way to do it. Participants should be able to run or run/walk 5K (3.1 miles) at the start of the training program.

Kickoff and Informational Meeting: Tuesday, May 4th at Fleet Feet Sports (after the first practice)

First Practice: Tuesday, May 4th at Fleet Feet Sports at 6:00pm

Coached Workouts: Long runs on Saturday mornings at 7:00am and Coached Speed Workouts on Tuesdays at 6:00pm

Program Cost: $100.00 (does not include race registration fee)
