2018 was the busiest year yet! We fit 800 Kids during the Big Fit in September.
Mission: Feet First Shoe Fittings:
- March 2019: Fit 20 RJ Reynolds track runners with shoes
- February 2019: Fit over 150 men, women and children at Love Thy Neighbor
- February 2019: Fit 80 students at Ashley Elementary with shoes and socks
- February 2019: Fit 23 "Let Men Run" and "Girl Magic" from Moore Elementary's running group with shoes
- February 2019: Fit 13 "Bolton Girls Move" with shoes, socks and Mission Feet First Shirts for the Hammerbird 5k
- January 2019: Fit Old Town Elementary and Family Promise of Davie County children in need (7 pairs of shoes)
- December 2018: Fit 50 Children at the Cherry Street Prison
- April 2018: Fit 150 guests fitted at the Bethesda Center
- April 2018: 18 pairs of shoes sent to Greece for refugees there
- March 2018: Fit over 150 kids at Griffith and Kimberly Park Elementary with shoes
- February 2018: Fit Carver High School Students with shoes.
- January 2018: Donated 30 pairs of shoes to a local school's clothing closet
- December 2015: Mission: Feet First traveled to in-need neighborhoods in Winston-Salem to deliver over 1000 pair of Balega socks
- November 2015: Visitors to the Samaritan Soup Kitchen on Thanksgiving Day were fit for shoes- 255 people
- October 2015: Men in the Sole2Soul running program through the WS Rescue Mission received new shoes and new training shirts
- October 2015: 60 children in the Old Town Elementary backpack food program children were fit for shoes
- October 2015: Davie County Go Far kids running program received 10 pair of shoes
- September 2015: Three families in the Stepping Stones Ministries program received new shoes
- September 20115: Fit 15 children in the Kimberly Park Elementary Running Program for new shoes
- September 2015: Fit 12 children in the Diggs Latham Elementary Running Program for new shoes
- August 2015: The 4th annual Mission 5K was held and $2000 was donated to the WS Rescue Mission
- August 2015: Provided 40 pair of shoes for the children living at the Thomasville Children’s Home
- July 2015: Fit 100 men at the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission
- July 2015: Fit 220 foster care children and 30 counselors in King, NC
- April 2015: Fit 20 Davidson County Special Olympics adults
- April 2015: Fit 75 adults at the Project to End Homelessness event
- March 2015: Delivered 20 pair of shoes for the clothing closet at Solus Christus
- January 2015: Fit 15 low-income girls in the Kimberly Park Elementary Girls on the Run program
- January 2015: Purchased a new 7x16 foot trailer to replace the existing trailer. The larger trailer will allow us to stock more children’s shoes, which continue to be in increasing demand
