SW2S2:  Six Weeks to Speed Series

 
 
 
This 6 Week Training Series is designed to guide participants in:
  • Increasing speed
  • Improving form
  • Developing core strength
  • Strengthening legs
How does it work?
When? Meet every Monday and Thursday at 6:00am for 6 weeks. First practice is Monday, January 4th. Program will end Thursday, February 11th. We will run in the rain, snow, cold, of early morning. Set your alarm clock, bundle up, and get ready to get fast! 
 
Where? Fleet Feet Sports Winston-Salem
 
What? Each participant needs to:
  • Register at Fleet Feet Sports for $100.
  • Bring a water bottle, watch, and mat/towel to practice.
  • Be prepared to work!

How? A series of coached track workouts, hill repeats, plyometrics, core workouts, form work, and leg strengthening exercises will enable you to improve your race time and speed your recovery for distance running varying from the 5K on up to the Marathon.

Who? Participants in SW2S2 should be able to comfortably run 4 miles and be prepared to push themselves in training. This program is truly designed for participants ready to take their training to the next level.
