What is KT Tape?
Kinesiology is the study of human movement and is used in biomechanic and rehabilitation settings. KT Tape is the abbreviation for Kinesiology Therapeutic Tape. KT Tape is used by sports medicine professionals across the world to treat and prevent common sports injuries. KT Tape provides support and relieve pain to injured muscles and joints without sacrificing your ability to move freely. KT Tape is made up of 100% reinforced synthetic sheaths that are designed to stretch to 140% elasticity which is the same as human skin.
How does it work?
KT Tape is applied along muscles, ligaments, and tendons to provide stability and speed recovery. KT Tape stretches and recoils soft tissue which distributes pressure off of the injury site preventing further damage to muscles and tendons. KT Tape also reduces inflammation by increasing circulation to speed muscle recovery, prevent cramping, and lactic acid buildup. KT Tape can lift and support the knee cap preventing runners knee, or support weak muscles in the foot which attribute to Plantar's Fasciitis.

How long will KT Tape stay on? Generally the tape should stay on for 5 days depending on the site of application such as the knee and foot, the tape might stay on for 2-3 days.
Does KT Tape help with stress fractures? No! Seek medical attention.
How do I remove the tape? Pull the tape in the same direction as hair, baby oil can help dissolve the adhesive.
Can I wear KT Tape under compression socks? Yes.
Can I wear KT Tape under a brace? Yes.
