Complete Race Day Information

Course & Start Times: 

The event starts and ends at the corner of 7th and Trade Streets.  
1 MILE: Starts at 8:00AM.  Out and back loop down Trade Street.  
5K Walk: Starts at 8:00AM.  
5K: Starts at 8:30AM.  Includes a two-loop portion.  Inspirational scripture to keep you motivated and moving!  Portable toilets are located at race start.  You will hit a water stop twice along the course. 

 Registration & Packet Pick-Up:  Online registration is now closed.  Shirts are guaranteed to pre-registered participants; sizes given first come, first serve. 

Registration & Packet Pickup Friday, November 3rd 4:00-7:00PM at Fleet Feet Sports
OR
Saturday, November 4th:  7:00-7:45AM at corner of Trade & 7th Streets.   

Shirts:  Race shirts will be given to the first 350 5K runners and walkers.  No shirts are given for the 1 Mile event.

Parking: Participants and spectators can park on any city street which allows side of street parking, or in downtown parking decks.   

Awards:  5K run and walk participants will be chip timed by the Twin City Track Club.  5K Run awards will be given for the top 3 overall male/female winners, top 3 overall male/female masters, as well as the top 3 male/female winners in each age group.  No awards will be given for the 5K Walk or 1 Mile Fun Run.  The award ceremony is expected to begin by 9:30AM.

Post-Race Expo:  Be sure to stick around for the post-race expo!

  • Bring your race bib to ChickFilA Thruway on Saturday to score a free chicken sandwich!

 Race Rules: 

  • No headphones
  • No dogs
  • We strongly recommend against the participation of baby strollers/joggers.  The inclusion of strollers in races increases the potential for injury to race participants and children.
  • Race will be held rain or shine.  In the case of inclement weather, the race may be canceled if the conditions pose a risk to safety.
